You and I Were Made To Make A Difference ~ THIS YEAR WE CAN!
We are all created by a Great God to do great works. He invites us to outlive our lives, not just in heaven, but here on earth. One way we can all make a difference is to raise funds to find life-improving therapies and a cure for A-T (ataxia-telangiectasia).

I was born perfect and healthy. By age 3, my eyes were always “bloodshot”. By age 4, I seemed a bit off balance and my speech was changing. By age 6, the doctor said I had A-T and I probably wouldn’t live to be age 9. By age 10, I went into a wheelchair. At age 18, I graduated with honors. Every January my mom, my sister Dannah, and I do the 5K Disney Marathon to raise awareness and the funds to find a cure for this brutal disease. I want to live. On November 2, 2011 ~ I turned 29. Please join in my celebration of V I C T O R Y. I have made it 20 years longer than the original prognosis!

God is using me for His special purpose — to shine His light, to share His love, to offer hope to other A-T families, to make a difference. Won’t you let Him use you, too?

☛Please sponsor/celebrate with me by clicking on the “Donate Now” button.

What is A-T?

Imagine a disease that combines the worst symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, and cancer. Children with A-T are usually confined to wheelchairs by age 10 and often do not survive their teens. Because A-T is a multi-system disease, scientists believe that A-T research will help more prevalent diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, AIDS, and cancer.
